Memorial Day - Remembering all Friends, Family and Service Personel

Remembering Dad yesterday and throughout the weekend while visiting Sedan for my class reunion was a true treat. Not only to reacquaint with friends from the area, but also to pay tribute to friends, family and service personel that made an impact to myself and all those that have read this blog.

Since Dad's passing, several friends and family have passed. Not to mention the coutnless service personel that have gone before us all.

As I passed by the Peru Cemetery I alway give a salute to Dad... (the traditional "Brewster" honk of the horn)... If Dad EVER visited you at any point in time, I'm sure you remember him doing that. I'm not sure where he got it from or where it started, but I've always tried to continue it when I leave a friend or families house.

Just a simple way to remember him and the ones that he loved so much by telling him in his way... I love ya and can't wait to see you again!

God Bless y'all... Tony

  1. The horn honking came from Grandpa Brewster. He would do that every time he left the house of the family he visited. Dad always did it too. So, it must have been a Brewster thing.
